CSC Cancels Fall Season 2020

After a lengthy meeting tonight and the current environment the Colchester Soccer Club has decided to cancel our upcoming fall season and all Colchester Soccer Club activities as of August 31, 2020. The decision to cancel was not taken lightly. We had the best of intentions to run the season while following the necessary COVID guidelines, but several reasons have caused us to come to this decision.
-Concerns about the younger age divisions to continually follow restrictions while maintaining a fun soccer experience.
-Concern for our Coaches and the lack of liability coverage to protect them while volunteering.
-Making the decision now allows us to fully refund all families rather than absorbing the cost of uniforms and other equipment or passing it on to the families after playing for a short time. Travel uniform money for those that placed orders will also be refunded.

We have lots of information that we have been reviewing and we believe the decision will be made for us in the coming days even if we didn't. We want to thank you for your patience as we navigated through these unchartered waters during the past several months trying to make the best decision for the safety of our families and protect the future of the program. We will have another email out soon with more info and the timeline for getting everyone their refunds.
