Welcome to the CYS referee page. CYS uses a WEB / EMAIL based system to assign referee's to all games.  Based on your experience and training, the club's assignor will assign you to Rec and Travel games as appropriate.

The first step in refereeing games for CYS is to register with the club. This is a once per year process. 

If you are a currently (2008) certified referee that lives in Colchester, you will receive an email with instructions for signing up for fall refereeing by August 1st, 2006.  You will have to follow the instructions to be able to receive games in Colchester. 

In order to receive assignments  - you must be able to use email and the web.

ALL YOUTH REFEREE'S ARE EXPECTED TO DO REC GAMES IN ADDITION TO TRAVEL GAMES!!!!! 

ALL REFEREES WHO SIGNED UP SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL EMAILS ON REFEREEING FOR CYS. IF YOU DID NOT GET ALL OF THE ABOVE EMAILS THERE ARE 2 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO..

1)  SEND ME AN EMAIL AT cys.assignor@comcast.net and let me know.

2)  Make sure your email will accept mail from the following 3 accounts:

PAYMENT

The CYS treasurer will send payments out based on the assigning sheets.  It is up to each referee to notify the CYS assignor if they do not referee a match that they accepted.  These payments will be made at least once per month. The pay rates are:
